To support student learning activities, the Library of Faculty of Agricultural Technology provides collections consisting of textbooks, national and international journals, proceedings, and thesis with a total of more than 20,000 titles. Students, lecturers, and employees of FTP are automatically members of the library. However, in order to be able to access the available services, it is first required to have a library membership card (KAP). Membership cards can be obtained by registering in the circulation section of FTP Library, by filling in the registration form and submitting the photos of 2 x 3 cm.
In addition to the Faculty Library, students can also access facilities provided at the university level, namely the Main Library which is located next to the UGM rectorate building. The University Library provides more than 400,000 printed collections and more than 80,000 electronic collections (e-journals, e-books and e-proceedings) that can be accessed for free from various databases subscribed by UGM such as Science Direct, ACS Publication, Proquest, Scopus, Wiley Online-Ebooks and others.
To provide better service for visitors, UGM uses an open access system. This system provides flexibility for library users to choose and retrieve their own library materials. To facilitate the user in finding information or collections, the library provides a search tool in the form of online OPAC / catalog. With this online catalog, users can search information with several search points, namely authors, titles, and subjects. The OPAC can be accessed through the page opac.lib.ugm.ac.id
