Continuous assessment
To achieve the expected learning outcomes, the study program assesses the student in all courses being taken. The assessments are conducted in three aspects: (a) Courses, (b) Field assessment report or paper review and presentation, and (c) Thesis. Student academic activities are divided into certain semesters where the courses will be conducted in 1st to 3rd semester. Then, the preparation of a thesis is undertaken in the 3th and 4th semester.
Final assessment
At the end of the 2nd semester, students must present their research proposal and present their research progress at the following semesters. Two supervisors assess student performance in conducting thesis. The assessment is on the bases of student’s writing skill, oral presentation skill, cognitive skill, persistence and diligence during proposal preparation, implementation, and report writing. With the same bases of assessment, students are examined by their two supervisors and two additional reviewers/examiners appointed by the study program.
